Judge Sonia Sotomayor Nominated to the Supreme CourtI met her after the Van Vleck Competition in 2006. Skipped 2 of 2 classes today. Stellar. But for one at least, I had a legitimate reason - today was the Van Vleck Moot Court finals at my law school. The presiding judges? Chief Justice John Roberts (of the U.S. Supreme Court), Judge Guido Calabresi, and Judge Sonia Sotamayor (of the Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit).
